In the heart of every dodgeball player thrives the spirit of competition and the relentless pursuit of victory. At Generation Dodgeball, we've always believed in celebrating this spirit and recognising the achievements of those who rise to the challenge. Today, we are thrilled to unveil a project that has been years in the making: the official Generation Dodgeball Championship Jersey Track Progression. But before we reveal this exciting development, let’s take a moment to look back on the journey that brought us here.
The Spark of an Idea 💡
It all began with a simple observation: a handful of players and teams consistently dominated the league nights. As players ourselves, we understood the significance of their achievements and wanted to find a way to honour their dedication and skill. What started as a half-joking idea quickly turned into a passion project for us. We quietly mentioned to some players, “For every league you win, you get a championship jersey.” Little did we know, this rumour would spread like wildfire through our community, igniting a burning desire in players to claim at least one of our league nights.
Evolution of the Concept
As our idea took root, we realised that not every player had the opportunity to "conquer all our gyms." We wanted to celebrate every victory, big or small. Thus, we refined our system: with each championship win, players would not only receive a jersey but also move up in a tiered progression system, from Tier 1 to Tier 6. Additionally, we introduced a theme that we can refresh periodically to keep things exciting and engaging. For instance, the current theme is based on animals (except for maybe the dragon), adding an extra layer of fun and identity to each jersey. We are thrilled to announce that the next theme will be unveiled on June 30, 2025. This evolution was aimed at creating a tangible sense of achievement, a way for players to track their growth and success within the Generation Dodgeball community.

The path to bringing our vision to life was paved with challenges, primarily in the design and production of the championship jerseys. Enter AKU Australia, our apparel partners, who became an integral part of this journey. With a blend of patience, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, AKU Australia worked tirelessly with us through countless iterations and design phases. Their expertise and dedication were instrumental in transforming our abstract idea into a tangible reality. We extend our deepest gratitude to AKU Australia for their partnership and for standing by us as we navigated this creative process. Without their contribution, the Championship Jersey Track Progression would not have been possible.

Now, after years of hard brain storming, we are proud to present the official Generation Dodgeball Championship Jersey Track Progression. This isn’t just a set of jerseys; it’s a testament to the journey of our players and our community. Each tier reflects not just a level of achievement, but a chapter in the story of a Dodgeball Legend.
